Diagnostic application of neuroultrasonography in peripheral neuropathy

Abstract:

Peripheral neuropathy is a disease which results from the damage of the structure or function of the peripheral nervous system. Its etiology and diagnosis are complex. In recent years, the study of peripheral nerve ultrasound has owned some auxiliary value in the diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy. This review focuses on the role of neuroultrasound in the diagnosis of peripheral nerve diseases.
