Research progress of leukocyte count and its subtypes in predicting the prognosis of acute ischemic stroke

Abstract:

As a common and traditional clinical examination index, blood routine test is convenient, easy to obtain and cheap. White blood cell count and subtype count are easy to get from blood routine, and easy to be widely accepted by the public. At present, the role of leukocytes and their subtypes in the auxiliary diagnosis of diseases such as infection and tumor has been paid attention to, and a large number of studies show that they are closely related to the prognosis of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. This paper focuses on the value of leukocyte count and its subtypes in predicting the prognosis of acute ischemic stroke.
