Research progress of the application of intraoperative tumor fluorescent agents

Abstract:

The application of tumor fluorescent agent in the surgical resection of intracranial tumor can guide the safe and effective resection of tumor by locating the tumor and marking the tumor boundary, improve the total resection rate of tumor and the protection rate of neurovascular function, so as to prolong the progression free survival of patients. Currently, the commonly used tumor fluorescent agents are fluorescein sodium, 5-aminolevulinic acid, indocyanine green, each of which has its own advantages and limitations, the choice of intraoperative imaging mode needs to be weighed. This article reviews the characteristics, mechanism, methods of use, advantages and limitations, and clinical application of common tumor fluorescent agents.
