Abstract:

Cerebral arteriovenous malformations (AVM) is a type of congenital dysplastic disease that is intertwined with malformed cerebrovascular, and it occupies a large proportion of cerebrovascular malformations. However, due to the intricate structure of blood vessels in AVM, the relationship between them is difficult to grasp, and imaging examinations such as MRI and CT have defects such as the inability to switch perspectives and the inability to intuitively understand the spatial architecture characteristics of AVM. 3D printing technology, as a three-dimensional display of the complex anatomical structure of human tissue, can vividly present the structural details of complex cerebral arteriovenous malformations. It plays an important role in preoperative diagnosis and the formulation of personalized diagnosis and treatment plans. This article reviews the research progress of 3D printing technology in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of cerebral arteriovenous malformations.

Key words: Cerebral arteriovenous malformations, 3D printing technology, Imaging examination
