Abstract:

Whole body vibration therapy, as a non-invasive interventional treatment, has been used in China in recent years. It works on the human body by stimulating muscles and proprioceptors with mechanical vibration and affecting the excitability of the central nervous system. This kind of treatment has achieved research results in central nervous system injury, osteoporosis, knee arthritis, type Ⅱ diabetes and other chronic diseases, but there are still some controversies. This review summarizes the relevant literature at home and abroad, and summarizes the research progress of whole body vibration therapy in the field of rehabilitation.
