Exploration and research on how to carry out ideological and political construction in the education of neurosurgery

Abstract:

In the new era, integrating the elements of ideological and political course into teaching is the new mode of higher education which is reiterated many times by general secretary. At present, neurosurgery majors face problems such as complex doctor-patient relationship, great learning difficulty, lack of practical opportunities and medical model reform, which put forward higher requirements for the comprehensive quality of medical students (especially humanistic quality) . A correct value system plays a positive role in improving humanistic quality, and ideological and political education has a good effect on helping students to establish a correct three outlooks and improve their humanistic care ability. Therefore, it is necessary and urgent to integrate the ideological and political education into neurosurgery teaching to solve the practical problems which encountered in neurosurgery teaching activities. Only according to the characteristics of neurosurgery curriculum, respecting the law of ideological and political education, can ideological and political course be integrated into neurosurgery teaching. Finally, the unification of command of knowledge and cultivating correct value system can be realized. While training qualified neurosurgeons in the future, it can also help medical students establish a correct outlook on life, sense of worth and world views, and become outstanding medical talents with high ability and integrity.
