Research on the relationship between dopamine and epilepsy

Abstract:

As one of monoamine neurotransmitters in the central nervous system, dopamine participates in the regulation of many kinds of neural activities.Epilepsy is a common disease, frequently occurring disease and the pathogenesis is unknown, which is one of the difficult points in the domestic and foreign research. Studies have found that dopamine is closely related to the occurrence of epilepsy, which is a hot research topic at home and abroad.The structure, distribution, biological function and regulation mechanism of dopamine and its relationship with epilepsy were reviewed in this paper, which provide a new theoretical basis for the targeted therapy of epilepsy and improve the level of prevention and treatment of epilepsy is of great value.
