To clarify the clinical effect of sertraline combined with hyperbaric oxygen in the treatment of daily living ability of post-stroke depression (PSD).

Eighty PSD patients admitted to our hospital from October 2016 and October 2018 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number method, 40 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with sertraline. The observation group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen on the basis of sertraline. The ability to daily life scale (ADL) scores and function independent rating scale (FIM) scores of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.

There was no significant difference in ADL and FIM between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, ADL and FIM scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group (90%) was higher than that of the control group (73%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).

In the clinical treatment of PSD patients, sertraline combined with hyperbaric oxygen therapy can significantly improve depression and other adverse emotions, improve the ability of daily life and quality of life, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
