Advances in the relationship between restless leg syndrome and intestinal diseases

Abstract:

Restless leg syndrome (RLS) is a common clinical disease. Because of its clinical variability, misdiagnosis and mistreatment, it endangers the life and health of patients and seriously affects the quality of life. The pathogenesis of RLS is still unclear. Intestinal diseases such as Celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome and Crohn’s disease are all associated with RLS. This article reviews the relationship between restless leg syndrome and some intestinal diseases.
