To explore the impact of individual scenario training on the rehabilitation of children with hypotonic cerebral palsy.
Eighty-two children with hypotonic cerebral palsy admitted to the Rehabilitation Medicine Department of Hainan West Central Hospital from November 2018 to February 2022 were randomly divided into study group and control group, with 41 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention, and the research group received individual situational training on the basis of the control group. The Berg balance scale (BBS), gross motor function measure (GMFM), Gesell developmental schedules (Gesell) and the range of lower limb motion of the two groups were compared before and after the intervention for 3 months.
After 3 months of intervention, the BBS, GMFM, and Gesell scores of both groups of patients increased compared to before the intervention, and those of the study group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). After 3 months of intervention, the joint activity scores of both groups of patients increased compared to before intervention, and the joint range of motion in the study group was greater than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).
Adopting individual scenario training to intervene in children with hypotonic cerebral palsy can effectively improve their lower limb muscle tone and development, enhance balance and gross motor function, and increase the range of lower limb motion.
